Bad float O rings can cause

• Hard starting
• Flooding
• Rough idle
• Increased fuel usage
• Poor performance, hesitation, bogging
• Plug fouling
  
• Backfiring

These are Nitrile/Buna N/NBR O rings (same as stock) which have lower temperature ratings than Viton/FKM making them more suitable for the conditions they're used in even though Viton/FKM would be better for fuel with ethanol (which Canadians can't avoid using if using pump gas).
